Cyclones clinch MCAC Southern Division Title, Host Region XIIIA Tournament

The Cyclones defeated Ridgewater College 5-3 on April 28th.  This victory was significant for a few reasons.  First, the victory was the 30th of the 2015 season a program record.  Second, the Cyclones clinched the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) Southern Division Title. 

The Cyclones have already scored more runs in program history (407). They also won 14 games in a row which is also a program record.  They were ranked 3rd in the nation which is the highest ranking ever in the program.

The Cyclones are also rank highly nationally in numerous offensive statistics.  The Cyclones lead the country in doubles (118). They also are ranked 2nd in walks (182). They rank 6th in hits (476).  They are also ranked 7th in Runs Batted In (321). They are currently hitting .396 which is 14th in NJCAA Division III.

Defensively, the Cyclones rank 8th in strikeouts (176) and 12th in ERA (3.75). The Cyclones fielded at a .937 fielding percentage which is good enough for 12th in the country.

The Cyclones will host the NJCAA Region XIII Tournament on May 7-8 at River's Edge Park. The winner of the 4 team double elimination tournament will advance to the National Tournament in Rochester, MN May 14-16.
